It all began with Bill and Ruth Hoitt who started a small instrument and valve company in 1973. With a passion for customer satisfaction, unwavering honesty, strong family values and great product lines, the small company grew in to one of the Mid-Atlantic's most successful process control distributor/representative organizations.
These solid business principles, together with Bill and Ruth's strong family values, were passed along to the Hoitt's three children as they grew up in the "family business". Each learned the business, and each found where their skills were most useful to the growing enterprise.
Today, Automatic Controls is a closely held firm managed by Bill and Ruth's three children. The company continues to grow and expand due to the new generations' commitment to the original founding principles - devotion to customer service, high quality products, honesty and integrity.
